in late october 2020 something spooky is coming. the collection, called "STREGA", will be comprised of a series of ruffley black dresses in woolens, cottons, silks, and more. strega, in italian, means witch. I am thrilled to be working on this collection! I am looking for a few models, but I definitely have a wishlist of people that I would love to work with. I have one dress completely finished and I am working on creating five to nine more.
I'm so glad to share this collection with you, but based on my experience with the mask-making project I do feel a bit of trepidation in myself when I think about creating a deadline for this collection. however, I am absolutely giddy when I think about the shoot for this collection.
I am planning to have a small group of people in the woods who will be photographed with dried flower bouquets by Madeline Hubert. I have so many other ideas and inspirations for the shoot which I have been sharing with Jaime Brennan and Teagan West, both of whom may be photographing the collection in late september-mid october, if all goes as planned.
